There''s simply no way you can build drywasher that will equal the recovery rate of a dredge of the time. It all depends what area you''re in, what size gold if found as well the type of ground.

May 22, 2014· Inspired by Goldigg''s excellent build and others on the forum I have decided to build an old style bellows puffer dry washer rather than a leaf blower version as I can''t stand the noise of the leaf blower versions and I want to be able to operate it by a small electric motor off my troopy''s secondary battery or by hand crank if that runs down.

Feb 15, 2017· Used a homemade puffer drywasher made with cloth cut from a plaid button up shirt bought at goodwill. It got gold and garnets, but I don''t recommend it. I do know someone who purchased a used drywasher and replaced the black Keene 151 fabric with black "not to be named" fabric. That Keene now works awesome for recovering gold.

Even missing the ultra small stuff it''s still catching a vast majority of the ultra small gold. In the picture is just one handful of concentrate panned down. The gold is powder small and all recovered with thel keene 151.

The echo should be fine to run drywasher, however if you want a vacuum too, then you may be better off buying a complete vacuum from ab prospecting or somewhere.
